This year’s Commercial Bank Qatar Masters will be visited by six Qatari schools to help develop golf in the community. The schools will be heading to the Family Zone on the lawn beside the clubhouse where the children will learn life skills in golf with the Qatar Golf Academy Professionals. After they’ve tried their hand at the mini golf and target golf games they will be given a tour at the driving range to watch the professional golfers.
The Family Zone is open throughout the tournament and will allow kids of all ages to try out a range of sports including mini basketball, mini tennis, mini golf and mini soccer alongside gourmet food offerings. The Shopping Boulevard is an exciting and new addition to the event. With a wide selection of accessories, apparel and other exhibitions, the boulevard will be a four-day shopping hotspot.
For corporate hospitality clients and sponsors a crèche will be in operation on Friday 23 and Saturday 24 January from 9am – 5pm. The crèche shall be open for children aged 2-10 years. Children may stay at the crèche for a maximum of 2 hours per day.
